Advances and Applications in Statistical Sciences

Aims & Scope: The Advances and Applications in Statistical Sciences is a broad based journal covering all branches of statistical sciences and their applications in medical, agricultural, econometric, physical or social sciences and industry, commerce and government and other scientific disciplines. The journal focuses on traditional areas such as probability, statistics, operations research, biostatistics, bioinformatics, multivariate analysis, sampling theory, re-sampling methods, time series, nonparametric statistics, regression and variance analysis, design of experiments, foundations of statistical inference, statistical decision theory, testing hypotheses, parameter estimation, sequential procedures, time series and statistical problems for stochastic processes, and statistical data analysis, etc., and also gives special emphasis to established as well as emerging applied areas. Contributions are invited from researchers all over the world. In addition to helping to stimulate research, the journal intends to bring about interactions among statisticians and scientists in other disciplines and to be recognized as the leading journal in its field in short span of time. All submitted manuscripts will undergo review process and the publication decision will be adjudged by quality, novelty, suitability and interest.

Frequency: The Advances and Applications in Statistical Sciences is published in two volumes annually and two issues constitute one volume appearing in the months of January, April, July and October. The first issue of AASS is expected to be released in January 2009. One volume of these journals is expected to comprise of 450 pages.
